New York City is a tough place to be punctual. Either the subways are running late or some disenfranchised group of people is holding a rally, somewhere, blocking traffic. Or else your bike got a flat and you couldn't fit the pump into the wicker basket in the front, what with all the records and your spare fedora already in it. That's why we really don't appreciate the hours of the Pearl River Mart down in SoHo. 7:20, really? Good luck.
